Just before Melissa goes on a camping trip with her friends, she receives terrible news about her health. She decides to say nothing, trying instead to enjoy her final moments with them.
‘Opgebrand’ premiered at Forum Groningen as part of the 48 Hour Film Project Groningen. The movie was nominated for Best Original Musical Score and won Best Writing, Best Use of Line, and 3rd place for Best Film. This success led the team to produce a film for ‘Yes We Cannes’, which became ‘Project Baanrecord’.
