Omar, who is visually impaired, wants to prove himself by beating the track record at the go-kart track. Supported by his friend Florian, he aims to show that anything is possible.
‘Project Baanrecord’ was produced for ‘Yes We Cannes’, an international challenge where top-three finishing films from cities around the world compete against each other. The team advanced to this competition following the success of their previous film, ‘Opgebrand’. ‘Project Baanrecord’ went on to win the award for ‘Best Use of Character’.
